We are grateful to have received a huge amount of support for our e-PR services from all of you hustlers out there in cyberland and have decided to feature our e-PR clients as often as they're kind enough to let us brag about them.

Our goal is not just to talk about how fab they are (Hello! That’s obvious!), but we hope that reading about them will inspire you to shut down your computer and immediately get up and emulate them.

Toms Shoes are a great example of what our e-PR can achieve and we will feature them as our next case study.

But our very first spotlight shines on the oh so fine Mr. Marvin Divine...

                    Marvin Divine

On this very day, August 23rd, 1992 (he's a baby we know!), Marvin graced the earth with his presence. With instantaneous and boundless talent, Mr. Divine's name says it all.

In his twenty years on this earth, Marvin has already achieved what most people fail to do in a lifetime, and that is to follow his dreams. After moving here from the UK at the ripe old age of eleven, he launched his rap career, instantly attracting the attention of music industry mogul Ma$e.

Ma$e is a rapper, songwriter, actor, motivational speaker, preacher and a reverend. He is one of the best selling artists on Sean "Diddy" Comb's hip hop label Bad Boy Records, where he has worked on tracks with the likes of Mariah Carey, Brandy and the Notorious B.I.G. With his own baker’s dozen of number one singles such as "Been around the world" and ayayaya (come on you know the words), Ma$e is no stranger to cultivating talent and immediately took Marvin under his wing, mentoring the young artist to find his own unique voice.

Through his time working with Ma$e, Marvin not only developed his signature style but found his musical mission: to be a role model who only rapped about positivity. Marvin lives that in his daily life, and makes it the number one priority in his music.

After working with Ma$e, another music mogul came knocking: mega producer Rodney "Darkchild Jerkins." An American songwriter, record producer and musician; Rodney has worked with a wide range of popular artists, including the late Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, the Spice Girls, Justin Bieber… the list goes on.

As a two-time Grammy nominated music producer, Rodney saw potential in Marvin after hearing his track “Baby Girl” produced during his time with Ma$e. Rodney was so impressed with Marvin’s talents that he asked him to join his signing competition tour where Marvin hit the stage alongside musical greats, soaking up everything he possibly could as he performed from city after city.

With so many of his goals having been met by the time college rolled around and not wanting to miss out on any of life's opportunities, Marvin decided to take a break to focus on academics and was accepted into one of the most prestigious schools in the United States: Penn State University.

While excelling in his studies, music was always at the forefront of his mind. Not only did he ace his course-load, but he even went on to release his own music video aptly named "Varsity Flow" during his time in school. Through his grass roots marketing efforts and industry connections, the video received over 63,000 media impressions in the first three months of its release.

Marvin Divine is the kind of kid who gives everything he's got to whatever he's doing, all with the goal of spreading positivity... which is why we know he will succeed. With divinity on his side, this youthful star has had the good fortune of finding guidance in every mentor he's met along the way. Whether he's talking to someone in a multimillion-dollar recording studio, on stage after signing with a Grammy- award winning recording artist, or in the classroom peppering a professor with questions, Marvin's heart and mind are open as can be. It's because of his willingness to learn and his ability to interpret those lessons in a positive manner that make Marvin so Divine.

Please join The Smith Group PR in welcoming our newest e-PR client, and in wishing him the happiest of birthdays. This is your year Mr. Divine; and we are so happy to be along for the ride!

With love,
